Thank you for purchasing system Comptech stainless steel exhaust gas at the Acura NSX (1991-2006). All of the components has been designed and manufactured using the latest technologies and materials. Please take a moment to read this page about the instruction how to manually and guarantee exactly before the commencement of any work. Always work in a clean and use proper safety equipment and tools to avoid any potential damage or injury. Comptech recommends genuine Acura service manuals in order to complete these instructions. All Comptech products are designed to be installed by the installer. Many stock parts are reused during installation. Damage to or does not reject any part during disassembly or installation.
This exhaust is not from any gaskets, with the exception of the two seals associated with tube adapter for cars 97 and later. Existing gaskets may be able to reuse, but always inspect and replace any defective gaskets before Assembly to insure an installation free leakage. You can order new gaskets or any intermediary Comptech Acura. We recommend using the factory service manual to complement these tips installation. This manual will provide more detailed information about the removal, installation, and/or torque specifications of any parts not covered here. Remember to always use the jackstands, supports the vehicle where the lift car is not available. Always work in a clean and proper use of safety equipment to avoid any potential damage or injury.
• Remove the Stock exhaust system: disconnect the exhaust system from catalytic converters stocks, thereby removing the connecting hardware. What is the rubber hooks that support gases using grease spray tips. Be careful not to damage the rubber hooks when deleting. One side is turned off, the other side will be easier to and detach hangers to the other. The exhaust system, now may be removed and set aside.
• Install the rubber hooks in the system: the application of some of the more Comptech lubricant, hangers and rubber all hangers on the slide mount points the exhaust system in Comptech at the same location and orientation of the Griff stocks. Note: If the hooks, rubber adhesive inserted into one side of the Hanger, make sure to install the side to the exhaust system.
• Install the hardware cards (95-06 of the NSX): specify the location of the elbows, loosely using the stock exhaust (not tighten) Append the node includes gaskets and hardware system of exhaust Comptech crush. Use a small amount of silicone to hold a crush gaskets in place during installation and also applies some anti seize all fasteners in order to facilitate any future removal of a part of the exhaust system.
