Installation instructions:
1. Coating suction and the exhaust ports to weight masking tape to prevent all forms of foreign debris falling during the Assembly. Set the cylinder head (deck face-down) towel clean shop. Remove the cam caps and VVT girdle and set aside. 2. apply some oil log cam, and the entire outside testing bucket. Carefully slide the bucket test on spring valve for his hole. Install cams with koniuszek pointed upwards, cam caps and girdle. Apply oil to the threads of the bolts on the sides of the head and bolt holes. Girdle torque two bolts to 75 w/lbs (6.2 ft/lbs.) and CAP cam four bolts to 150 w/kg (14.5 ft/kg). Do not attempt to cams rotate while the head is sitting on the bench. 3. Measure the distance between the bucket and cams base circle of Feeler blade, as shown. Should be the overall set-up moderate resistance as you move the Feeler blade between the bucket and the base circle camshaft. Take into account the Feeler blade thickness and the record number in the appropriate box (labeled "measured Lash") in a settlement of the Subaru valve provided. 4. remove the cam caps, girdle, cams and bucket. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all valves; one at a time.
